Information we use

Account details include your username, email address and a protected password hash. When you use the service, we process uploaded videos, video titles and links, account settings, messages you send through our forms, and technical records needed for security and service operation.

Why we use it

We use this information to provide login, uploads, playback, downloads, sharing, support and copyright-report handling; to protect the service; and to maintain its reliability.

Cookies and analytics

FileOne uses cookies needed for login sessions and form security. With your optional consent, we use Google Analytics 4 to measure page visits and improve the service. Analytics is off until you allow it; you can change your choice using Cookie settings in the footer. Video identifiers and URL query strings are not included in page addresses sent for analytics. If advertising is enabled, advertising code may use additional technologies separate from account functions.

Access and storage

Account data and submitted messages are available to authorized administrators. Videos and technical records are processed as needed to deliver the service. Information is kept for as long as needed for these purposes, including security and dispute handling, and may remain in backups for a limited period after deletion.

Your choices

You can change your email and password in account settings and remove your videos from My videos. For other privacy requests, use the contact form.
